The Texas Knights were created with the goal of developing a family-like culture among our competitive Select baseball teams.
There are several layers for building this foundation:
- Find quality families that are willing to invest time and effort to support their athlete and coaches.
- Employ high character coaches with a passion to teach responsibility, discipline and respect for each other through this great game of baseball.
- Communicate effectively and positively with players, families and coaches.
- Preparation in all facets of the game, on and off the diamond.
- Care for your players as if they are family.
Coaches/Mission
We all had one coach that was instrumental in driving us to become a better player by teaching, disciplining, listening, caring and being a mentor. As a player, we won’t remember the winning percentage of our coaches, we will remember the impact they had on our character and how they taught us to play the game. The goal of a Texas Knight coach is to give back what we were taught in an effective, positive manner that can have an impact on today’s players.
